Featured in this lot is an early 1900s vintage handkerchief box. This handkerchief box has been passed through five generations an is around 100 years old. The box features a black and white photo of a woman on the top with a gold background and floral designs. The whole box is covered in a multicolored suede material with colors of green, deep purple, black and deep blue in a swirling design. The front has a small metal clasp to securely close the box. Just below that is an image of a sculpture that depicts a woman's head, with floral designs around it. The inside of the box features a fine cloth liner with a beaded handkerchief bag that has a zipper. Overall the box is in good condition with no signs of obvious damage. The box shows very light wear. A perfect vintage addition. The box measures 6 1/2" L x 7 1/2" W x 3 1/2" D.
