Included in this lot we have a Mexican spice grinder mortar and pestle originating from the early 1930's. The set displays rough stone construction with three thick legs across the bottom of the mortar. This grinder was used by the Mexicans to grind spices. It was purchased in 1934 by G.H. Ehlers. The pieces show good condition overall with some wear across the piece. The set measures 6 3/4" in diameter by 4" tall.
