Included in this lot we have a brass water bucket originating from the early 19th century. This brass pail which was around for the end of the fur trade era was believed to be used by Native Americans as a basic trade tool. This bucket is entirely brass with an iron rolled lip and an iron handle. The bottom of the pail is marked "The American Brass Kettle 3 Manufacturers". The bucket is in fair condition overall with carbon build up on the out side and shows a nice warm patina. The pail measures 7" tall by 9 1/2" in diameter.
