For your consideration is this obsidian and flint knapped point collection, aged from the early to middle Archaic period. There are 14 points total in this collection, with nine knapped from obsidian and five knapped from a cream flint material. The majority of the points show ovoid shape, with a number of the obsidian points considered a bi-point shape. The three smallest points show a triangular, serrated edge with stems. The point missing the tip and shows flared shoulders. The condition of these points is good, with only one damaged point missing its tip; otherwise, the collection is in good, overall display condition. The measurements of these points range from 1 1/4" x 3/4" to 4" x 2".
