For your consideration n this lot we offer an Original Hand-Colored photograph of Montana Cattle and Cowboys from 1890's-1920's. The photos shows a heard of cattle, Hereford, Angus and a few that show some longhorn blood, being tended by two Cowboys on horseback. Both cowboys are wearing overalls and hats, one is riding a pretty paint horse. A young Hereford calf is shown giving the photographer a good stare-down while others move away. There is a Hereford bull with the cattle that with the size of the calf's puts this photo in the mid to late summertime. The landscape appears to be typical eastern Montana. The photo has been painted with color to green the grass and blue the sky. There are a few minor spots of damage on the edges of the photo and the frame has some damage. This photo is really a great find for someone's collection. The photograph is 19" X10" set loosely in a wooden frame that measures 21 1/2" X 12"
