For your consideration is this pair of early Navajo embroidered dolls, circa 1920's. There are two dolls in this collection, with the first one showing a profusely decorated fringed dress and blouse and a silver bracelet adorned as a belt. This doll also has trade seed beads of chalk white and sky blue making up the necklace, tin studs, and tin arrangements as ornaments of the blouse. The second doll shows a corduroy blouse with a three cotton print to the skirt and thin stamped and molded jewelry with sky blue trade seed beads. The condition of these dolls is exquisite and in good overall condition for their age; they do suffer from some fading to the cloth. The measurements of these dolls are 15 1/2" x 8" x 3" and the other measures 15 1/4" x 7" x 2 1/2".
