For your consideration is this circa 1900 Transitional Navajo Eye Dazzler wool rug. The rug features a primarily red field having four central Chinle Stars/ diamond shapes that repeat in a growing, outward pattern. The other colors used in the pattern are black, goldenrod, and tan. The rug is bordered on both ends with seven bands: 3 red, two black, one goldenrod, and one tan. The rug is in good condition for its 100+ year old age but does have some color change and loose warps from time and wear. The rug measures 77" x 45".
