The lot features a puzzle carved ball in hand medicine man walking stick from the Sioux of the Plains with an early vintage age originating from South Dakota reservations. The piece shows a carved ball club handle which shows a hand grasping a ball carved from what appears to be solid oak hardwood. The handle club has a metal pin attaching it to the wood handle which shows carvings in square, round, rectangular, cylindrical and discoidal. There are two sections of early 1900's period glass trade seed beadwork. A nice, unique piece. Measures 38.25-inches long by 9-inches wide by approx. 2.25-inches thick.
