Featured in this lot is this NOS .22 cal short rifle and pneumatic ammunition and were displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The collection shows two boxes of .22 cal short rifle rounds and one pneumatic .22 cal ammo box. The first is a Winchester Repeating Arms Co. box of ammunition that reads as follows on the box: 50 No. 22 Rifle Cartridges manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn. U.S.A. (this is a NOS full box). The second is a Peters Cartridge Co. box of ammunition that is considered NOS or New-Old-Stock and is marked on the front as follows: Peters .22 Short R.F. Rifle Cartridges semi-smokeless powder non-corrosive priming The Peters Cartridge Co. Cincinnati, Ohio. The last box of ammunition is a box of .22 cal Pneumatic ammunition from Crosman and reads as follows: Crosman .22 Pell's for Crosman Pneumatic .22. The condition of this collection of .22 cal ammunition is well preserved that is shrink wrapped for preservation but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this collection 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 3/4" to 2" x 3 1/4" x 1 3/8". The collective weight of these boxes of ammunition is 531.2g.
