Featured in this lot is this hand carved Massai warrior from Eastern African Kenyan tribe. The hand carved and stained figurine features three parts to the bust decoration. The warrior is carved from leadwood and shows the iconic Massai warrior spear and warrior’s shield, called an elongo. The condition of this hand carved Massai warrior is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this hand carved Massai Warrior are 8 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2".
