Featured in this lot is this Eastern Sioux embroidered hide gauntlets, circa 1890 - 1910. There are two gauntlets in this pair, showing a wonderful embroidered floral decoration with purple, orange, red, and green embroidery work to the topside of the gauntlets and hide fringe to the outside rim of the gauntlets. The condition of these gauntlets is good and shows wear consistent with their age; there are no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this pair of gauntlets are 14" x 9".
