This lot includes a collection of four Easton Press leather bound books of classics. The first is "Hamlet" by Shakespeare. This book is bound in grey leather with gold embossing on the cover and spine. This book is illustrated from drawings by Edy Legrand. The next book is "The Call of The Wild" by Jack London. This book is bound in a dove grey leather with gold embossed paw prints on the cover. The book has illustrations by Henry Varnum Poor. The third book is “The Idiot" by Fyodor Dostoevsky and illustrated by Fritz Eichenberg. This book is bound in red leather and has gold embossing of a Russian building on the cover. The last book in the group is "The Poems of Shelley" selected, edited, and introduced by Stephen Spencer and illustrated by Richard Shirley Smith. Each of these books comes with taffeta covered flyleaf pages, a satin book mark ribbon, and gold top edge gilt. These books have slight moisture damage. The largest book is 11 1/2" X 7 3/4" and the smallest one is 10 1/2" X 6 1/2"; they are up to 1 1/2" thick.
