Provided for auction in this lot is a collection of ten Easton Press leather bound, gilted novels, each is a part of "The Masterpieces of Science Fiction" series. The collection is comprised of Hothouse by Brian Aldiss, Stardance by Spider and Jeanne Robinson, Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang by Kate Wilhelm, Island in the Net by Bruce Sterling, Babel-17 by Samuel R. Delany, They'd Rather Be Right by Mark Clifton and Frank Riley, The Big Time by Fritz Leiber, Dreamsnake by Vonda N. McIntyre, Flatland by Edwin A. Abbott, and The Mote in God's Eye by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. The collection shows very good condition, with bright gold text blocks, silk book marks, and very nice covers. Each novel comes with Easton Press collectors notes. The largest book measures 9 1/4" tall, 6 1/2" wide, and 1 1/4" thick.
