Featured in this lot is this working proof called Concord Coach Days by Edward Borein born in 1872 and died in 1945. The drawing features a wonderfully and professionally crafted etching construction that is an original unrecorded copper etching plate and is an original. The plate features an etching of a stagecoach riding at full gallup approaching the view of the viewer. The border has writing that reads as follows: Working Proof - #2 Proof 11/11/82 EA. The condition of this working proof is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed plate is 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" and the visible art measures 4 3/8" x 6 3/8". This piece was sold to Mr. James Vitanza on November 4, 1982; and than was sold into the collection of Karol W. Vardell on November 6, 1982.
