Included in this lot is an Edwin Hunt London Percussion cap fowling black powder rifle originating from the 1850's. This fowling gun features a hard wood stock, brass trigger guard, wood ram rod, and 41 3/4" long barrel with 10" long octagonal section and smooth bore. The lock plate displays etched floral designs and is marked "Edwin Hunt". The top of the barrel is marked "London" with inspection stamps on the right side. The gun shows a brass trigger guard, ram rod receiver, and butt plate. The rifle shows good condition overall, with a warm patina and wear from use. This firearm qualifies as an Antique and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
