Featured in this lot is this Egyptian Tutankamun silver and gold bust pendant. The pendant features a wonderfully and professionally crafted silver and gold construction that shows the likeness of Tutankamun with the head gear and decoration. The pendant features a unrecognizable Egyptian mark in the bottom right hand corner of the pendant. Tutankhamun, often referred to as King Tut, was an Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom (around 1332–1323 BCE). He is one of the most famous pharaohs of ancient Egypt, primarily due to the discovery of his nearly intact tomb in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter. The condition of this Egyptian pendant is preserved with some dings to the pendant but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The measurements of this pendant is 2 1/8" x 1 1/2" x 1 7/8". The collective weight of this pendant is 16.8g.
