Featured in this lot we have a pair of Elephant bird eggshell fossil fragments. The ancient fossil fragment originate from Madagascar. The fragments are both framed with a picture of a elephant bird skeleton. The elephant bird or Aepyornis Maximus lived in pre-historic ancient times. Both fragments where found south of Madagascar. The overall condition of the two pieces is good their ages. Both frames measures 9" wide by 9" tall by 1 1/4" deep.
