Included in this lot we have a Empire flexible licorice display crate. The crate is made of pine with box joints at each of the corners. The box is designed as both a transport case and as a display case for sales. The box is marked in a number of places reading "Empire Licorice Tubes One Cent. - Flexible Licorice - 100 Empire Bars". The crate is in fair condition overall with some faded paint and wear indicative of age. The crate measures 17 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" deep and 4" tall.
