Featured in this lot we have an engraved and unmarked brass handled sword bayonet. The bayonet sword features a 35 3/4" long etched blade with a bayonet style brass grip. The blade features detailed floral etched designs across both sides of the blade and fuller. The grip features full brass construction with hammer marks, collapsed barrel ring, and bayonet groove on the pommel. The bayonet is free of makers marks or stamps outside of the etched designs. The piece shows good condition with some rust, light pitting, and wear due to age and use. The piece measures 40 1/2" long overall with the blade being 35 3/4" long.
