The lot features a nice set of Caribou hide mukluk high top moccasins from the Eskimo Inuit Native American Indians of the mid 20th Century. The set shows an Indian tanned Caribou hide and fur high top moccasin mukluks with glass trade pony floral beadwork with trade yarn pom-pom end fringe ties. The beadwork shows corn yellow, white, red, cobalt, butterscotch yellow, green, light blue, orange and dark green. The set appears to be in good condition with supple soft hides with little to no bead loss and a band of fur or fur like adornment at the center of the ankle. The inside is lined with trade muslin. Overall each moccasin measures 10"L sole that is 3.5"W with the ankle being 11.5"H.
