This is a nice carved Tusk, lidded box from the Eskimo Inuit Native American Indians of Alaska, dating to the early 1900’s. The piece shows a Walrus Tusk solid piece carved into a bowl with a hinged lid. This is also referred to as a trinket box, pill box, or keepsake box. Provenance: From the largest American Indian Antiquities collection in Montana. Overall, this piece measures 4”x2”x2”.
