Featured in this lot is this Eskimo Inuit walrus tusk scrimshaw bracelets. There are two bracelets in this collection. The first is a plain walrus tusk bracelet with square examples of links of sampled walrus tusk on bungee cord. The second is a bracelet constructed from walrus tusk and shows Eskimo faces scrimshaw decorated into the face of the links. The condition of this pair of bracelets is good for the larger bracelet and poor for the scrimshaw bracelet with the bungee broken and leaving the piece flat. The measurements of this pair of bracelets are 11" in circumference and the broken bracelet is 7".
