For your consideration is this Eskimo walrus tusk, sperm whale sculpture with whale bone base. The sculpture shows a wonderfully crafted sperm whale mounted on a whale bone base. Profuse attention to detail was given to the baleen plate mouth and the tail of the whale. The condition of this walrus tusk sperm whale is fair; the construction shows the tusk broken in shards and reformed to create the frame of the whale, however the side fins are missing. The measurements of this walrus tusk ivory sculpture is 3 1/2" x 6" x 4".
