Featured in this lot is this estate Montana sapphire, 14k gold ring from a Gem Mountain mine from Philipsburg, Montana. The ring has a beautiful setting featuring pictorial stamped and embossed symbols of a bursting sunlight and a cross with a horizontal symbol at the bottom. The ring features a 14k gold stamp on the inside of the ring band. The center stone features a wonderfully set round brilliant cut original Montana Blue Sapphire with measurements of 5.90mm x 5.94mm x 3.79mm and an approximate weight of .94cts. (This stone was measured in setting and the weight shown calculated with those measurements.) The condition of this estate ring is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The overall measurements of this ring are 1" x 3/4" x 3/8"; the ring size is US 6 1/4.
