Featured in this lot is this pair of Nesikep and Elko Eared Oregon found projectile points circa 7,000 to 6,000 B.P. and from the middle Archaic period. The points feature a wonderfully and professionally napped flint construction. The first point shows a semi serrated edge with a triangular profile and sharp sloping shoulders with corner notches and a straight stem. The second point shows a triangular shape with a single sided cluster design with a semi serrated edge and sharp shoulders with side notches and concave expanding bifurcated stem that end in sharp points. The condition of this pair of projectile points is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of these points are 2 7/8" x 1" and 2 3/8" x 7/8". The collective weight of these points is 15.8g. Provenance: Ex Jim Young Collection
