Featured in this lot is a wonderful Alaska polar bear trophy taxidermy rug mount. This polar bear was legally taken in North Beaufort, Alaska in the late 1960's by a licensed Inuit hunter and comes with a letter of authentication. The bear displays wonderful off-white fur with impressive sets of claws and teeth. The hide is set on a black felt backing across the bottom. This trophy polar bear hide rug shows fantastic craftsmanship. The bear rug measures 76" wide from claw to claw and measures 80" from nose to tail.
