Featured in this lot is this excellent VS2 diamond and channel ruby, platinum ring with AIG paperwork. The ring shows one electronically tested platinum ladies cast ring with a bright finish and 'Orianne' hallmark with a PT950 stamp on the inside of the ring band. The center stone shows a prong set radiant shaped cut diamond that measures 6.26mm x 5.16mm x 3.65mm with 3.00% GTCF, an approximate weight of 1.01 carats, color gradient H, and a I1 clarity. The center stone is accentuated with 17 channel set various cut natural rubies with a total weight of 0.92 carats and heavily included clarity; the rubies are considered type II with dark brownish red color, (GIA R 7/1), and a good cut. The outside halo ring and pave set shoulders are lavishly decorated with 60 prong and bezel set round brilliant cut diamonds with an approximate weight of 0.24 carats, a G - H color gradient, and clarity of VS2 - SI2. The total weight of the diamonds is 1.25 carats. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000721160006) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $14,330.00.
