This is an excellent, handwoven flat weave rug by master weaver, Tito Gutierrez. The rug was made using 100% soft, fine, handspun yarns in a beautiful Relampago Eye Dazzler pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave, using 100% handspun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight handwoven weave, displayed with bright, rich tones, is in the fine Relampago Eye Dazzler pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Tito Gutierrez. The rug shows a phenomenal, Navajo style, Relampago Eye Dazzler pattern of the historic Trading Post days, with modern, contemporary detail showing an unbelievable, very highly detailed design of radiating, flash of lightning storm symbols in colors of tan, brown, heathered grey, and orange. Relampago translates to 'flash of lightning'. This is such a beautiful, highly designed, one-off rug with a fine, tight weave. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition. The rug measures 4’ by 5’ (4 foot by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
