Featured in this lot we have a F.I.E. Model Titan E27B vest pocket pistol chambered in .25 caliber. This pistol was manufactured for Allen Bernkrant, the former President of Southern Gun & Tackle and comes from the collection of Jim Supica. Allen Bernkrant was an avid collector of firearms and particularly enjoyed collection the serial number 1 models from manufacturers. Due to his connections and love of serial number 1 guns, some manufacturers made first models for Bernkrant marked with his initials. This pistol displays an "AB1" serial number, indication it was made for Bernkrant and comes with a letter of provenance from Jim Supica. The pistol displays a 2 1/2" long barrel, checkered black plastic grips, 6 shot magazine, semi auto action, solid trigger, and blue'd finish. The left side of the slide is marked " CAL. 25" with the right side of the frame marked "F.I.E. CORP. -MIAMI, FLA.". Mechanically the pistol shows a working slide and crisp trigger. The piece comes with its original box and papers along with a Jim Supica certificate and FIE patch. This pistol shows good condition overall with some wear across the exterior due to handling. The pistol and box weighs 12oz. Serial Number: AB1. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
