The lot features four original Frank J. Haynes Yellowstone National Park photographs of National Park Mountains, Twin Lakes & Rock Creek Canyon, Chittenden Bridge, and Two Fawns circa early 1900’s. These are all large format photographs in Yellowstone National Park and are all four stamped on the back. The first is stamped on the back “© 28031 National Park Mtn., Yellowstone Park © Haynes Inc” and shows a beautiful black and white photograph a wooded cliff / mountain with winding river and shows the correct © mark lower right. The second is stamped “© 35399 Twin Lakes & Rock Creek Canyon © Haynes Inc.” and shows a fantastic black and white image looking down at the smooth waters and rocky canyon with the © lower right. Next is the photograph stamped “© 31091 Chittenden Bridge, Yellowstone Park, © Haynes Inc.” and shows the bridge spanning the river and marked bottom left with the ©. Lastly is the photo marked “© 24270 Two Fawns, Yellowstone Park, © Haynes INC.” and shows two spotted fawns nestling necks and is marked with the © lower right. All four are in good condition and measure 10” by 8”. Similar Haynes photographs with the same era stamping and size have sold for $300 apiece, with this lot containing four photographs.
