Available in this lot is a set of three original F. Jay Haynes stereoview cards. These cards originate from the "Northern Pacific Views" series, which was captured between the years of 1885-1905. F. Jay Haynes is not only knows as "Mr. Yellowstone", but was also the official photographer for the Northern Pacific Railroad, he assumed that position from the first day the golden spike was driven, connecting the East and West Northern Pacific Railroad. Each of these three steroview cards show the Northern Pacific train passing through deep snow. These cards which originate from 1888 & 1889 show good condition overall, there is some apparent browning and writing on the surface of the cards, as well as some edge bends. Each card measures 6 7/8" wide x 3 7/8" tall.
