Offered in this lot is a set of three Middle Eastern knives with carved wood handles and sheaths. The largest knife is 19 1/2" long. The carved wood sheath has a brass tip and a lever to lock the knife in place. The blade is oiled and marked "India" and appears to be in good condition. The sheath does have a chip in the wood near the top and is missing the upper brass band on the top of the sheath. The handle has slight wear from use at the point of the brass latch. The next knife is 101/2" long in the sheath. This blade is a smaller brother to the large blade. The brass tip is missing from this sheath, but the brass band at the top is intact. The blade is not stamped "India" like the larger blade is. The knife also has the working brass lock. The knife has minor wear on the sheath. The smallest knife is 81/4" long. This knife is also missing its brass tip, however the rest of the knife and sheath are in good condition. The blade is not stamped. The knife has the same brass locking tab. This set of knives is a great collector’s item.
