For your consideration are two framed Far West Stage Line notice to passengers posters circa 1900-1910s. The first in this lot shows the rules of the stage line and reads, "Far West Stage Line Notice To Passengers / Adherence to the following rules will insure a pleasant trip for all" at the top. Below that are the 9 rules that the passengers must adhere by. The second of the set shows the boarding prices including lodging for the night for 25 cents, food for 25 cents, liquors for 6 1/4 cents, wine (per gallon) for 25 cents, oats for horses (per gallon) for 1 cent and horses are stabled for free. The top reads, "Board" in bold, black lettering and shows scroll style designs. Both pieces are set in a light wood frame and are single matted with beige matting paper. The pieces show good condition overall with some slight staining / foxing present on both pieces, but no signs of major damage is noted. The visible poster measures 10 3/4" L x 8 3/16" W, while the entire pieces measures 14 7/8" L x 12 3/8" W x 7/8" D.
