For your consideration is this antique Federal Drop Front Secretary Desk with light. The desk was made by Northwestern Cabinet Co.in Burlington, IA, circa 1930. This desk came out of the Voss Inn Bed and Breakfast collection. The desk shows simple, elegant lines and has fancy round door pulls and round ring drawer pulls of brass. On either side of the desk portion is a cabinet and a small drawer; underneath the slant top is a desk drawer. Inside the desk are two filing compartments with tiny drawers. Uniquely, there is also a built in light in the center; it is unclear whether this was original to the desk or if it was a later addition. The desk is in very good original condition.
