Featured in this lot is this 1911 copy of "Fighting the Traffic in Young Girls: Or War on The White Slave Trade" by Ernest A. Bell. An excerpt from the title page reads, "A complete and detailed account of the shameless traffic in young girls...How to save YOUR GIRL. How to save YOUR BOY...A book designed to awaken the sleeping and protect the innocent." The book includes thirty-two pages of striking pictures. The fact that this book was written over 140 years ago about a curse that still exists today is amazing. The condition of this book is good with some slight wear to the inside spine of the book, scuffing to cover edges. Gold gilt on front cover pictorial border is mostly faded. Intact pages show age tanning and foxing consistent with the age of the book but otherwise in good overall condition. The measurements of this book are 6.25"W x 8.5"L x x 1.25"D
