This is a first edition of "Finding the North Pole" edited by Charles Morris and published in 1909. The book is a historical account of the discovery of the North Pole by Frederick Cook on April 21, 1908 and Robert Peary on April 6, 1909. The hardbound book has a wonderfully decorated and gilted cover. Additionally, the book has numerous illustrations of the journey. Overall, the book shows good condition. The book measures 9 1/4" tall, 6 7/8" wide, and 1 1/8" thick.
