This is an original hand woven fine wool rug by Navajo master weaver Mabel Claschee with a tight weave and Eye Dazzler pattern. The rug is accompanied by a polaroid photograph marked "Mabel Claschee June 2009 "Eye Dazzler"", a scenic photograph hand written on the back "Burnt Corn Valley where Mabel lives - She wove the Teec Nos Pos + (and) the Contemporary Chinle (w/ black)", and lastly a print out of auction listing from 2009 for over $400. The rug is hand woven showing a tight weave in soft hand spun wool being approximately 220 knots per square inch (20 by 11). The rugs is in colors of red, black, grey and white / cream. The rug is in well kept condition with no apparent damages or color bleed. Measures overall 46" by 28.5" with the fringes or tassels and 38" by 23.5" without.
