This lot feature a Finely Woven Zapotec rug. This rug is in good condition for its age. It shows great color and wonderful patterns, long fringe cut, and intricate detail. The Zapotec Native American Indians are significant due to the fact 400 years ago the Spanish missionaries taught the Navajo and Zapotec how to weave, these practices are still mastered in both Zapotec and Navajo Tribes. This rug measures 47" x 23 1/4".
