Featured in this lot is this First State Bank Baggs, WYO. advertisement sign circa 1907-1924. The sign features a wonderfully and professionally crafted painted tin construction that shows a light brown field with black lettering that reads as follows: First State Bank of Baggs, WYO. Appreciates Your Business. The First State Bank of Baggs, Wyoming, is a historic building located in the small town of Baggs. Established in the early 20th century, it played a significant role in the local economy, serving ranchers, farmers, and other residents in this rural part of Wyoming. The bank building itself is noted for its classic early 1900s architecture, which reflects the economic optimism of the time. While it no longer operates as a bank, the structure remains a point of historical interest, representing the pioneering spirit of small-town America. The building is preserved as a reminder of the town's past and is part of the area's historical heritage. The condition of this Wyoming sign is preserved with some chipping to the paint in the corners and oxidation the metal underneath but otherwise shows a preserved condition. The measurements of this sign is 11 7/8" x 23 7/8". The collective weight of this sign is 1lb.
