Featured in this lot we have a Flathead Native American Indian beaded trade belt buckle. The buckle shows intricate geometric patterns constructed out of glass trade beads. The buckle is made on a piece of tanned hide, with glass beads showing colors of dark brown, yellow, white, grey, and light blue. The buckle is in good condition showing no wear. The buckle originates from the Flathead Indians in Montana and is truly a wonderful piece. The piece measures 4 1/4" long by 2 3/4" tall.
