For your consideration is this wonderful folk art hand carved and painted wood goose. The goose is solid and not hollow; its legs are spindles which fit down into a solid wood base. The goose is painted with Canada goose markings and colorings. The spindle legs are painted black as is the wood base. The goose is portrayed with curved neck, looking to the ground. Its eyes are round amber and black beads. The carving has no artist or date markings. It measures 31" long x 19.5" tall. It stands on a 8" x 11" base.
