Featured in this lot is a pair of U.S. Forest Service five gallon wildfire water hand pump backpacks. The two water backpacks display yellow canvas construction with a Velcro top and padded shoulder straps. The interior of the packs show a clear rubber five gallon water bladder. The pack shows a circular cut out towards the bottom of the backpack to make room for the nozzle attachment point. The piece shows a brass hand pump nozzle with a hose attached to the water container. The pack displays an extra pocket across the back and is marked in black lettering, reading "Not For Drinking F S S". The packs are designed to allow easy transportation of water and hose systems to wild fires located in backcountry. The pieces shows good condition overall, with some light wear due to use. The backpacks measure 21" tall by 16 1/2" wide, with the hand pump measuring 19" long.
