For your consideration is this Forms and Ceremonies to Be Used By Councils of the Degree of Pocahontas, Improved Order of Red Men. Adopted by the Great Council of the United States, Corn Moon, G.S.D 406 circa 1897. Very nicely preserved copy of a very rare handbook of rites and ceremonies to be performed, and how, by the American Indian private society known as the Degree of Pocahontas - the female counterpart to the Improved Order of Red Men. This copy issued in 1897, just about 10 years into the Degree of Pocahontas. The condition of this book is good for its age and shows some wear tot he outside cover of the book however; the pages show some browning consistent with age. The measurements of this book are 7" x 4 3/4".
