Featured in this lot we have a fossilized taxidermy beaver and coyote skulls. The fossils display a dark brown bone with lighter teeth. The coyote skull displays the top and bottom jaw and displaying most of the teeth. The beaver skull displays a dark brown coloration with orange tinged front teeth. The skulls originate from the Pleistocene age (8-12,000 yrs old) from the River Terrance Deposit Bonner Springs, Kansas. The pieces show fair condition overall with some wear and signs of repair and damage. The coyote skull measures 7 1/4" long by 3 1/2" tall with the beaver skull measuring 5 1/4" long by 4" wide.
