For your consideration are these two fossilized megaladon shark teeth found in South Carolina, USA. The Megaladon was a very large shark that lived 2-7 million years ago. It is the largest carnivorous fish known to have existed. They were able to reach the size of a school bus and have teeth up to seven inches in length. The first smaller tooth shows a grey color and a black attachment point with worn down serrated edges. It shows two small chips on the left side of the tooth but overall is in good condition. The second, slightly larger tooth shows a grey color as well with the same black attachment point. The tooth has worn down serrated edges and shows a small chip on the right side of the tooth but is in overall good condition. Both teeth show good condition with no signs of obvious damage to either. The larger tooth measures 3 3/8" L x 2 11/16" W, while the smaller one measures 3" L x 2 5/8" W.
