Featured in this lot we have a Frank Wesson first type two trigger rifle chambered in .32 caliber. This first type displays a 24" long octagonal barrel, walnut stock, brass frame and double trigger design. The first of the triggers is the break action release with the second being the trigger for the hammer. The piece shows a slot on the right side for the barrel catch and part of the manual ejector on the left with parts missing. The brass frame and trigger guard shows spots of the original nickel finish with most of the exterior showing the warm brass and patina. The rifle shows wear across the exterior due to age and use with some pitting across the barrel. Mechanically the rifle is inoperable with the barrel release trigger spring not functioning properly and the hammer mechanics needing to be replaced. The rifle weighs 6lbs 2oz. Serial Number: 772. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
