This photograph is copyrighted in 1910, for Kiser Photo Company - Portland, Oregon for the Great Northern Railway #4738. Fred H. Kiser, an accomplished mountaineer and promoter, was one of the most successful and widely known landscape and commercial photographers in the American West during the first two decades of the early 20th century. The collection includes photographs taken by the brothers, as well as by Clarence L. Winter, Fred's partner, who later operated Winter Photo Company.
