Featured in this lot is this after Frederic Remington (born 1861 and passed on 1909) bronze called "Rattlesnake." The bronze features a cowboy riding a horse starting to rear away from a snake on the ground. Frederic Sackrider Remington is an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialized in illustrations of the American Old West. The base of the bronze is marked across the top, reading "Copyrighted by Frederic Remington" in the bronze. The piece shows good condition overall, with little to no wear. The statue measures 16" long by 22" tall by 9" wide.
