This is a Frederic Remington bronze sculpture titled "Coming Through the Rye". Remington is easily the most recognized and highly regarded American Western artist in history. His technique and style have inspired generations of artists attempting to follow in his footsteps. This sculpture was cast using the lost wax method and features a rich, deep brown patina. This piece is one of Frederic Remington's most iconic sculptures. It shows the four cowboys on horseback in full stride with their guns blazing. The piece shows good condition, though the foot on the far right horse has separated from the base. It is set upon a beautiful black marble base. The piece measures approximately 29" wide, 19 3/4" deep, and 27 3/4" tall.
