For your consideration is this large, framed Frederic Remington print titled, "Turn Him Loose, Bill!" originally painted in 1893. Frederic Sackrider Remington (October 4, 1861 - December 26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialized in depictions of the Old American West, specifically concentrating on the last quarter of the 19th century American West and images of cowboys, American Indians, and the U.S. Cavalry. This print captures the explosive energy and danger of a cowboy breaking a wild, bucking horse in a dusty corral. The painting focuses on the high energy moment of western life, featuring a cowboy attempting to tame a wild horse amidst a dramatic, sunlit landscape. It is set in a wood frame and is double matted with beige and light brown matting paper. The visible artwork measures 17 1/2" L x 23 3/8" W, while the entire piece measures 24" L x 29 3/4" W x 1 1/2" D. It has a total weight of 8 pounds and 8 ounces.
